Silver plated folding clam shell style bun warmer. Release the top closure tabs to unfold and reveal hinged panels. 24 karat gold lined interior. Hand engraved pattern on shells. Measures 10 1/4" high x 8 3/4" wide. Open dimensions 13" in length x 7 1/2" wide. Circa 1880-1890.
