Acard 75 mg is an oral medication without prescription, suitable for long-term use in the prevention of diseases associated with the risk of embolism and blood clots in the blood vessels. Each gastro-resistant tablet contains 75 mg of acetylsalicylic acid – an active substance that inhibits platelet aggregation (clumping). It has the shape of a heart and is covered with a special coating, thanks to which it does not break down in the stomach and reduces the irritating effect of the acid on its mucosa.
