A mother and baby blue whale feed and frolic near the surface of a dark blue and lavender ocean. Turbulence and bubbles meet zedist reflections as they both merge into the currents creating another one of Yuransky’s brilliant fractalized morphologic surfaces. Using transparency and sculpted tetrahedrons, the energy of the water and whale is crystallized into nested solid forms that transport the viewer’s spatial awareness back into cosmic consciousness and beyond. Always under the watchful eye of the mother, baby blue whales are also protected under both the Endangered Species Act and the Marine Mammal Protection Act.
