Zen-Wu G-2 Paring Knife

A single-bevel Kiridashi-style paring knife with a titanium-alloy handle and a Magnacut steel edge. Magnacut is a modern stainless tool steel that holds an edge like a high-carbon steel and will not spot-rust in green wood sap, on a job site, or in a humid shop.The blade is dovetail-laminated: the Magnacut edge is set into a dovetail joint in the titanium body and welded in place, giving both a mechanical interlock and a full metallurgical bond. The back is hollow ground, reducing weight and making it easier to flatten on a stone. Flat and ready to shave out of the box.Left-handed versions available on request.
