A Japanese maple tree in bright autumn colors by a pond (inspired by the famous tree at the Portland Japanese Garden). This landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors. This painting will hang just fine on a nail, which is how I hang all the paintings in my house.
