Gray Whale Tail in Purple WavesA whale tail waves to us as the whale plunges back into waves with sea foam spraying. This seascape is a small original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the 3/8" sides are painted). A wooden table top easel is included.  The easel is in natural wood finish. This was a concept that formed over time and I am very happy with the result. The background was inspired by Japanese kimono patterns, with a touch of zentangle and dotting, which gave it a more contemporary tone. These miniature paintings are a wonderful touch to your desk, fireplace mantel, living room or meditation space.
