A shaman plays a flute under a ponderosa pine tree overlooking a valley of mist in swirls of blues and purples as the day closes to a peaceful end. Geese fly over the distant mountains of this sunset vista. This contemporary landscape is an original acrylic painting on a stretched canvas (the staple-free sides are painted). It has been varnished to protect the paint and preserve the lustrous colors. This painting will hang just fine on a nail as is.
