Agave Titanota ‘Lion’s Mane’ - Rare Succulent Plant - 4”

This very rare rosette agave plant has gorgeous blue-silver dolored leaves and amazing dark brown teeth. In addition, the leaves all have a cool imprint pattern from when the leaves are pressed together in the center. This is a compact, dwarf type of Agave titanota. The super cool teeth start out yellow and dark brown on new growth - before fading to lighter brown and gray as the leaves open and mature.  Agave 'Lion's Mane' reach about 2' x 2' at maturity. They offset profusely, so you can expect babies to clump at the base. You can divide them or let them grow in a cluster. Make sure the pot you choose provides room for this growth. These are smaller pups, so a deep 4" or 5" pot will be good for a while.  As a small clumping Agave, this plant does well planted in a pot or in the ground. Make sure it has well-draining soil and recieves adequate light. It will thrive in partial sun. You will receive a plant very similar to the pictured.
