Each mug is shaped and molded by hand from toxin-free earthen stoneware into the thick 16oz barrel shape kiln fired at 1700˚F. Atop the suave stoneware surface, the Serpentine raised pattern(shades of orange, black, grey) is hand painted around 3/4 of the mug. The vibrantly colored Monarch butterfly covers the front portion; opposite the sturdy stoneware handle. The complex artistry and raised patterns are reflected in the individual expert brush strokes and free-hand-dropper-painting technique.
