ROUND CHARCUTERIE BOARD - BIRCH CROSSCUT

This is a limited collection of spalted birch crosscuts with amazing natural wood color and character. These Round Charcuterie Boards have an oval to circular shape with a thickness and color making for a one-of-a-kind presentation. Use these boards for charcuterie or as a Wooden Cake Stand - also as a table centerpiece.   This is a Rustic Charcuterie Board - a solid crosscut (end-grain) wood slab - a wood slice from a log. These special boards are air dried for a year until kiln dried, planed, and sanded. Each board has its bark removed and sapwood lightly sanded – cracks and knot holes are filled with an epoxy which adds to wood solidness but also makes the board more suitable for serving food. The finished result is a board with smooth face and edge surfaces.
