This is the oil I use on my personal collection of balisong knives and trainers. After trying a variety of different oils, I favor this oil in particular for balisongs with extremely tight tunes (i.e., "no play" tunes), where thicker oils tend to slow down the swing too much, and lighter oils don't offer enough viscosity. I recommend frequent application of this oil for all pivot systems: bushings, washers, and bearing balisongs (even ceramic bearings benefit from this lubricant because the washers and cages are made of brass or steel).
