This distinguished young Buddha pendant with great detailing is crafted in sterling silver and hangs from an 18" rhodium plated sterling silver bead chain. Rhodium adds a tarnish resistant finish as well as a darker, rich patina to the sterling silver. Anyone who has become fully awakened or enlightened is considered a Buddha. The important function of a Buddha is to act as a teacher and to lead others. This pendant is stamped 925 and measures 5/16" wide and is 5/8" in length.
