Product Description: An early English Green Feather-Edge Creamware Platter. In oval form, measuring 15 ½ inches in length with an even scalloped and feathered impressed edge in green, it showcases early charm and character. Circa: Early 1800s – 1820s Dimensions: Length: 15 ½” Width: 12” Height: 1 ¼” (from flat surface) Product Weight: 3 pounds 13 ounces Color: Cream and Green Material: Earthenware, Lead Glaze Finish: Glazed Maker: Unknown Markings/Makers Mark: Impressed Vertical “37” (on back) Origin: England Condition: Previously owned - used. No cracks or repairs. All-over crazing, scrapes and staining is present which is not uncommon with early Creamware. One ¾” glaze skip or scrape on top, back of scalloped edge. One ¼” nick on back edge of scallop. Other wear as shown in photographs. No longer suitable for food use. Sold as a decorative accent and/or collectible.
