  Product Description: After the Civil War, manufactures in the United States began manufacturing cookie cutters similar to the style of those from Germany.  This early biscuit cutter features a rolled lip and a soldered handle and seam.  It offers a wonderful rich, dark patina with the company name "Fries" incised in the top handle.   Circa:  Late 1800's - early 1900's Dimensions:  2 5/8" overall height (to top of handle), 1 3/8" height (well only), 1 7/8" diameter Product Weight:  1.1 ounce Material:  tin Maker:   Fries Markings:  Fries Color: dark gray Condition: Previously owned - used.  Condition is consistent with age.  Moderate to dark patina.  Spotty surface rust.
