  Product Description:  Gaudy Welsh, (or Swansea Cottage, as the English know it as), hand-painted pottery known for their own bright and colorful palette was originally noticed in Staffordshire England around the 1820's.  This Gaudy Welsh creamer decorated in the "Oyster Pattern", is one of the earlier patterns after the Tulip.  On all sides, it showcases vivid colors in cobalt blue, russet, highlighted with touches of pink luster (copper appearance) on an off-white surface.
