  Product Description:  Cresco Biscuit Tin Boxes similar to this, once held cookies and crackers made by Hitchner Biscuit Company in West Pittston, Pennsylvania.  Displayed and sold in country stores, this hinged biscuit box with a glass window panel stands 9 ¾ inches tall.  Remnants of the original, worn label is still intact.  The back features embossed lettering; “This can is the property of The Hitchner Biscuit Company”. A nostalgic piece of history from a biscuit manufacture dating back to the later 1800’s. Note:  Please refer To “Condition” section for additional information about this product.
