  Description:  A fine example of an early blacksmith made copper pot with a strong iron bail handle. Hand-hammered double rivets on each side with a flush, somewhat round head on the interior wall. It is uncertain what this pot was originally used for as there is no remnants of glue or melting residue, only signs of oxidation. There is a possibility it was only used to boil water. The patina on this pot is perfect and also showcases a great shape.  Note:  Refer to "Condition" for additional information Circa:  Possibly mid 1800s or earlier.
