Antique Hoosier Cabinet Rectangular Glass Mission Spice Jar Blank Label Circa 1912
Description: Only made for a short period of time, this old-time, early rectangular spice jar in the Mission pattern was once probably displayed inside the hutch door in an early Hoosier cabinet. This spice jar is the first style in the Mission pattern with an unpolished rim. It stands 4 ¾” tall and 1 ½” wide with the original aluminum lid. Although the lid is a bit indented on the sides, the rectangular style Mission Style jars are one of the earlier glass jars made and are a challenge to find.
