Description: During the Victorian era, Ironstone pitchers and basins were commonly seen in most homes. This beautiful, crisp, white ironstone pitcher pre-1890 was made by J & G Meakin, England.. It stands 12 1/4” tall with a simple yet elegant shape. It features a smooth white surface with a simple ½” band around the thumb rest area. The Royal Arms back stamp with lion couchant without the England stamp dates this pre-1890. Note: Please refer to "Condition" for additional information.
