Antique Extra Large Copper Cowboy Coffee Pot 2 Gal. Original Chain Wooden Bail Handle
Product Description: Earlier on, especially in the Western U.S., it was a tradition for Cowboys and Ranchers to make their coffee around campfires with pots similar to this one. They were also used on ships during some American Wars. This extra large 2 gallon coffee pot with a copper exterior and tin interior is constructed with rivets, soldered seams and rolled or folded edges. It features three handles; a nice size vertical grip handle, a tipper handle and a bail handle with a wooden grip. Underneath the lid which is held on by the original chain, are initials scratched in the surface which appears to be "E L", from the previous owner or craftsman. A coffee pot like this one is not an easy find and is a wonderful display piece.
