  Product Description:  Surprisingly during the late 1800s into early 1900s, lunch boxes similar to this one were used as lunch pails for many working men. This tin pail in oval form shows signs of early soldered seams on the inside with a riveted swing handle and a tightly fitted lid with a porcelain knob. Great early piece of tinware which displays nicely. Note: Please refer to “Condition” for additional information. Not being sold for food use. Only as a collectible for display purposes.
