Antique White Ironstone Teapot 8 Cups No Lid
Description: This White Ironstone Teapot from the 19th century is so charming and decorative. It’s rather large measuring 7 3/4" tall and 10 inches wide from spout to end of handle. Although not marked, it most likely originated from England due to its nice solid weight and just a hint of blue-gray undertones in certain lighting, like most early English Ironstone. It’s nothing but ordinary with a highly decorative, white on white raised leaf and intertwined vine pattern around the top and lower belly. Take notice of the fancy spout and ornate handle with scrolling and a raised leaf motif near the thumb rest. Although this classy piece of ironstone is missing its lid, add some fresh cut flowers and create a beautiful vase arrangement.
