Product Description: A charming White Ironstone Tea Pot by John Alcock, Imperial Ironstone, Cobridge, Staffordshire England. From the mid 1800s, over 160 years old, it’s still stands gracefully with a fluted body, embellished leaf reliefs under and around the top rim, handle and spout. This tea pot is not perfect. Although not easily detected from a short distance, there is a decent repair around the base of the lid handle. If you're not bothered by this repair, you will love this original tea pot. An early piece of English ironstone with areas of slight, light blue undertones, still beautiful, functional and decorative. Note: Refer to “Condition” for additional information.
