Antique Wooden Butter Mold Press Flower Plunger Style
Product Description: During the 19th into the 20th century butter print molds were highly used in farmhouse kitchens to give their butter more of a unique characteristic. This smaller size butter mold is impressed on a round piece of wood that features a floral design, a single flower on stem with leaves. It’s a plunger type that pulls up and presses down and housed in a dome shaped exterior case. It aged gracefully although has acquired some issues over the years which are noted under "Condition" below.
