  Product Description:  Pulleys such as this one were once used for lifting heavy objects and had a variety of uses.  They were most commonly seen around barnyards and often used to lift bales of hay up into the lofts of barns.  This handsome wood block pulley with double metal sheaves and a husky cast iron lift hook features wonderful character. With just the right amount of dark aged patina, remnants of green paint and areas of worn and chipped wood makes this rustic accent a wonderful collectible.  Can be used as a farmhouse accent on porches, cabin decor, or for a re-purpose project.
