Antique Box Jointed Wooden Cigar Box with Metal Closure Bar and Hinged Lid

  Product Description:  Take a look at this fantastic, early wooden cigar box. Constructed with box jointed corners and slotted screws on the bottom, it showcases two hinges on the back and a long metal, iron bar closure on the front which lifts over the lid and snaps into place. The exterior sides and lid have a varnished surface leaving the base and interior untouched. In black, there is a stenciled “S” on two short sides, writing underneath and on top of lid along with scratched-in letters from a previous owner. A wonderful appearance to this hinged box which is functional for many uses.
