For our latest collaboration, we have teamed up with interior designer Libbey Nivakoff (also known as @followthatdesigner). At 12|12, we have been following Libbey for years for her enviable design aesthetic. She creates spaces that are “intended to be beautiful as well as lived-in and functional”, an approach that certainly speaks to us as a company that strives to make better children’s basics. The “Women’s Day to Night Set” can be worn together as a matching set, or alternatively the beach pant can be worn alone over a bathing suit during the day and the shirt can be worn separately to dinner that evening. Similarly, the “Kid’s Day to Night Set” can be worn as a travel outfit or to the beach. Each piece in the collection is made of 100% organic cotton muslin, which Libbey notes is “perfect for resort since it packs well and isn’t fussy”. Sustainability is also a key aspect of her design approach (which has a particular focus on antiques), so it was important to her to use only organ
