1834 Oeuvres Completes De Moliere, Vols. 1-6

The Complete Works of Molière, preceded by a notice by L. B. Picard, revised and augmented with a dissertation on Tartuffe by Mr. Étienne, member of the French Academy. New Edition. Volumes 1-6.   Paris: P. Pourrat Frères, Publishers, 1834. This is a complete set of Moliere’s works that is nearly 200 years old!  Each book in this set is written in French.  Volume 1 has a gorgeous engraving opposite the title page.  The covers are quarter-leather (spines only) with marbled covers and end pages.  The books measure 5” x 8” and contain between 300 and 600 pages.  These books are in excellent condition for their age, showing slight wear to the covers and spines and age spotting throughout.
