Larousse’s World Mythology - A 1973 Coffee Table Book

Larousse’s World Mythology is edited by Pierre Grimaldi, professor at the Sorbonne, and published by Hamlyn in 1973.  It is described as “a book of generous proportions.”  23 authors survey the myths of the world’s principal societies, analyze the form and function of the myth, and examine recurrent themes.  This book is heavily illustrated.  It contains 600 total pages, including 40 with full-color illustration.  It measures 8.5” x 11.5” and wears a dust jacket.  It shows light wear to the jacket and cover.  Overall, it’s in good to great condition for its age.
