1951 Epiphone Zenith
Modded in-house by 1929, we've got a vintage 1951 Epiphone Zenith (New York, pre-Gibson) in a really tasty ambered natural finish. I purchased this one with its original finish completely stripped and needing some parts. I've added a classic Epiphone Frequensator tailpiece, a set of vintage 1960s American-made Grover tuners, and a custom 1929 pickguard in a translucent confetti tortoiseshell celluloid. To deal with the missing finish, I used Tru Oil to give it a good amount of shine while keeping the finish incredibly thin. The entire guitar vibrates when you play it; it's very resonant. Comes with a nice vintage hardshell case! These vintage Zeniths are 16 3/8" wide at the lower bout, and feature a carved spruce top and carved maple back with maple sides. Rosewood fingerboard on a pretty 3-piece Mohagony neck with a Rosewood center stripe. This is a USED guitar that has been modified. This one is in good condition for its age, with very few scratches or dings in the finish since it's
