Long L-5 Pickguard

Made here at 1929 Pickguards, we have a replacement pickguard for later 16" Gibson L-5 archtops. These long guards were used on L-5s from roughly 1929-1935. These guards are a dark tortoiseshell acrylic (black shown) material with 3-ply White and Black binding. These L-5 guards will look great on any 16-inch archtop.  These guards are made-to-order, and the current build time is 1-3 weeks.  I ship my guards undrilled to match all applications. Each guard is fully cut and polished by hand. Material pattern will vary between each guard. I use two layers to create the thickest outer binding layer, as Epiphone and Gibson have done. I find it lasts longer this way.
