Pearloid L-5 / Super 400 Guard

Here we have a cream Gibson L-5 / Super 400 cutaway pickguard, as was very occasionally used on L-5s and Super 400s in the late 30s/early 40s. This is a really nice piece of thick, big chip pearl celluloid with 5-ply lack-white binding. This pickguard is made to fit the Gibson L-5 / Super 400 with a cutaway, but will fit any 17" or 18" lower bout archtop guitar with a cutaway. Would look great on an Epiphone Emperor Regent or Broadway. Can accommodate any pickup cutouts requested! These guards are built to order, and the current build time is between 2-3 weeks.  I ship my archtop pickguards undrilled to match all applications. Each guard is fully cut and polished by hand.
