The story began when a group of experienced winemakers took over an old factory and set up the Wine Federation. Four years later, on 9th July 1932, they started the wine co-operative. The Produttori di Manduria owns more than 1000 hectares of vineyards now, of which are half are grown with the traditional sapling system THe nose shows ripe aromas of yellow apple, melon and white blossoms with a hint of candied banana. It's juicy and creamy on the palate, with driven acidity pushing along all the ripe fruit flavors.
