2018 Terre Rouge "Les Côtes de L'Ouest" Syrah, Sierra Foothills, California

Terre Rouge and Easton Wines was established in the 1980s by Bill Easton and Jane O'Riordan, a husband and wife team. With a background in working for small California wineries and owning a wine shop specializing in artisan producers from around the world, Bill's palate and winemaking style have been shaped and refined. Bill started making wine seriously in 1986 with the first Rhône red blend. In 1994 they moved into their current winery facility and began to expand the portfolio. Bill is one of the original Rhône Rangers and pioneered the Rhône varietals in the Sierra Foothills. His wines are known for their balance, elegance, and complexity that continues to develop over time in the bottle.  Enjoyable to drink now and holds promise for aging well in the future.
