Falling for Autumn

This 10" x 10" wooden mirror has hand-painted canvas, applied mosaic style then sealed with varnish. The rich earth-tones are accentuated by the shiny black paint that provides a rich contrast. This mirror is a true reflection of the beautiful earthy colors of Autumn. INSPIRATION: Whether you call it recycling, reuse, upcycling or repurposing; I have done this for as long as I can remember. First because materials were scarce but now because the experimentation and resulting unique products and processes that are possible. Innovation was always around me in that way because that is how I grew up but couple that with my love of art, pattern and design and it's a great mix for providing something truly unique and part of why I decided to go with "A Carol Original".
