Graffiti used to be solely considered vandalism, but once the public began to recognize the varying talent of those who felt compelled to decorate the plain and the boring with elements of design, in some places at least, it became celebrated. INSPIRATION: I love reuse and I recycling because it's both practical and in my mind celebrates true creativity. I find that there is something magical about working within the constraints of materials others might discard or find no purpose in; to me it is in those very constraints that bring out more creativity than new materials EVER do. Besides it's fun and requires innovation and adaptation to find a purpose where others see none. Some artists exclusively repurpose, but for me it is as potential materials appear that I find my reuse treasures! Another bonus is that I feel it enables me to create things that are really unique and with character. I hope you find this so too!
