ThumbDrum Kalimba
Originating in Africa, the ThumbDrum has made its way throughout the world. Also known also as a sansa, kalimba, and thumbpiano. It is played by plucking the tines, or keys with the thumb. They are perfect for play and musical experimentation. Sturdy enough for children, they are a wonderful way to keep hands busy and ears attuned to the gentle sounds coming from the ThumbDrum. The resonator for the ThumbDrum is a beautiful solid, cedar board or cedar box, depending on which style you choose. Smoothly sanded, they are a joy to hold and play! Comes with an instruction booklet and small songbook. Also includes a numbering system for the keys which will assist you in playing the numerous accompanying numbered songs.
