Here's a moral principle virtually everyone agrees with: It's wrong to kill an innocent human being. We're also generally agreed upon this: Unplanned pregnancies can be extremely inconvenient. But since abortion kills an innocent human being, the inconvenience of an unwanted pregnancy is immaterial. The moral principle wins out.
