Margot Guralnick is a New York and Boston botanical artist who, since 2014, has been making daily assemblages from the leaves and twigs she gathers on walks, initially accompanied by her late, great rescue dog, Enrique. Her creations are ephemeral, assembled on found backdrops and memorialized in photographs before being cast to the wind. Margot describes her collages as “a daily meditation on—and a collaboration with—urban plant life, so crucial to our well-being but so often completely unnoticed."
