A fine 19th Century German Black Forest inkwell circa 1880. The inkwell is a carved dog with glass eyes and a lower pen tray. The carving is crisp and rendered with wonderful expression. The condition is very good with rich color and a pleasing patina. Dimensions: Height 3.5”, Width 9”, Depth 3”.
