Acquerello This premium Carnaroli rice is grown and processed at the Tenuta Colombara estate in Piedmont, Italy. Aged for 1 year, it gains improved stability and better absorption compared to freshly milled rice, while still cooking quickly and evenly. Acquerello is prized by chefs for risotto because the grains release starch slowly, creating a creamy texture while staying firm at the core. The rice is also enriched with its own germ, making it more nutritious than standard white rice.
