Ensure that the location is dry and away from direct sunlight. Mount the Charge Controller: Use the mounting holes on the charge controller to mark the positions on the wall or surface where you want to mount it. Drill pilot holes for the screws. Attach the charge controller to the wall using the mounting screws. Connect the Solar Panels: Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) wires from your solar panels to the corresponding terminals on the charge controller. Ensure a secure connection and use appropriate connectors or crimps. Connect the Battery: Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) wires from your battery to the corresponding terminals on the charge controller. Make sure the connections are tight and secure. Connect the Load (if applicable): If your charge controller has a load output for powering devices, connect the positive (+) and negative (-) wires from your load to the corresponding terminals on the charge controller. Check Wiring Polarity: Double-check that all the positive and negative connections are correct to avoid damaging the charge controller or connected devices. Secure Loose Wires: Use cable ties or clips to secure any loose wires and prevent them from interfering with the operation of the charge controller. Power On: If your charge controller has a power button, turn it on. Monitor the charge controller for any indicators that confirm proper operation. Test the System: Verify that the solar panels are charging the battery by checking the charge controller's display or indicators. If applicable, test the load output to ensure it is working correctly. Troubleshooting: If there are any issues, refer to the troubleshooting section in the user manual or contact Rich Solar customer support.
