Amsterdam

Amsterdam, 2019 Teeming with flowers, bicycles, and creativity, Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities to visit. While dodging bikes, I leisurely walked down the famous Nine Streets, a  picturesque avenue filled with unusual stores and coffeeshops. I happily stumbled on Gerda’s Flowers & Plants. Unlike anything in the states, this upscale florist shop was filled with exotic flower arrangements that featured flowers that I had never seen before. I found these lovely red blooms in a funky bucket outside the shop. Hastily, I snapped some photos. To my surprise, this unplanned photo turned out great. This photo was so meaningful to me, I created a large, outdoor canvas with this image. It now hangs on my front porch welcoming me home and reminding me of a day well spent in The Netherlands.
