Pumpkin, 2017 I had never seen a pumpkin like this before. There I stood in the crowded DeKalb Farmer’s Market, marveling at such a sight. I couldn’t wait to get back to my studio to photograph it. I placed it on the seat next to me as I drove home. The natural ornamentation on this pumpkin was stunning. After hanging in a local gallery for less than a week, I sold this photo to a collector almost as interesting as the pumpkin.
