Purple Cabbage
Purple Cabbage, 2019 "...a flower of strange beauty, growing in a desolate spot, and blossoming in the wind." - Nathaniel Hawthorne The winter before COVID- 19, life was normal for me and my family. We were enjoying a mild winter and decided to go to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens' spectacular light show. Gathered by the front entrance awaiting our turn to view the show, I noticed this gorgeous purple cabbage planted in an isolated spot next to the entrance. While I took lots of photos that day, the photo that impressed me most was the one I took of the quarantined purple cabbage.
