Sunflower Blues, 2018 Helianthus These sunflowers are bold! I decided that they needed an equally bold approach. I pumped up the color, enhanced the movement of the petals, and changed the colors of the surrounding leaves. I loved the juxtaposition of the yellow and blue. The end result was vibrant and energetic, like a yellow sun swirling on a blue lake. Prints are signed and printed using archival pigment Inks on imported fine art cotton rag velvet paper.
