Yellow Iris, 2010 This sunny iris totally captured me. Its red interior, like a soft mouth, beckoned. I enjoyed setting up a photo shoot with a variety of brightly colored leaves to offset the yellow of the flower. This gave my portrait a richness and depth. And the sensuous folds of the flower, juxtaposed against red, added an additional lushness. Prints are signed and printed using archival pigment Inks on imported fine art cotton rag velvet paper.
