DO NOT heat up the overlay until desired placement has been met. Align the top of the overlay near or slightly above the top edge of where the reflector sits inside the tail light. Start at the pointed edge of the tail light reflector, it should sit just at the raised edge of the tail light before it dips towards the front of the vehicle. Lay the side that is closest to the front of the vehicle first and adjust the reflector tint till it covers the entire reflector. Once laid the rest of the overlay should fall into place. Lay the overlay and adjust until the desired placement is met. Please see the product photo for the exact placement of the reflector overlay. Once placement is met, PLEASE FOLLOW BELOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADHESION. If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion. If there are bubbles make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge If you mess up, you can peel it off right away with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles. ** REMEMBER TO POST-HEAT** the vinyl after laying, this will activate the glue behind the overlay which will enhance tackiness. NOTE: Light Smoke and Gloss Black have PET liner, must be peeled off after install for a complete super gloss finish.
