811 ‘Prague’ Chair by Josef Hoffmann for Thonet Bentwood and Cane Side Chair

Josef Hoffmann 'Prague' chair, no. 811 , manufactured in Poland by FMG ( Fabryka Mebli Giętych) for Thonet.Chair is in excellent original condition, with minor wear (commensurate with age) to finish. The seat has been re-caned but the back is original and there is a slight color variance between the two. 33" high x 17.5" wide x 20" deep. Seat height 18". This style of 811 features the round leg brace. A different iteration of the 811 is also available in the shop. The chairs have a slight discrepancy in size (height 32-33" & depth 20-21") but both are produced by RMG and make an attractive pair, please contact us about pricing should you wish to purchase the set.
