BREAK RESISTANT PENCILS FOR KIDS These unlacquered pencils feature a large, hexagonal barrel. The extra thick lead cores and barrels are extremely break resistant, water resistant, wear down less quickly than standard pencils and require less frequent sharpening.  SPECIFICATIONS This 6.9” long pencil has a diameter of 0.39”. The hardness level is a B and the pencil wood is from sustainably managed forests with FSC certification. The barrel is hexagonal shaped, which reduces hand fatigue and also doesn’t roll off a table top!  Offered as a single pencil, 4-pack, 10-pack or as a box of 19, perfect for classroom sets or as a supply to get you through the school year for one or more kids. And they sharpen nicely in our pencil sharpeners made for this size and shape pencil barrel.  NOT JUST FOR KIDS These pencils are great for anyone who experiences hand fatigue when drawing or writing. They are also nice for those with joint mobility issues of the hands, often associated with growing older, as they are easy to grasp and hold. The larger size makes them easier to find, too!   ARE YOU A WALDORFISH STUDENT? The Waldorfish Geometry and Form Drawing instructor recommends thicker barreled pencils like these over thinner, regular sized pencils for their Geometry course. The thicker leads and barrels are break resistant and last longer between sharpening.
